At Coastal Sports, every order is important to us. Making sure you get your order safely in your hands is our top priority.

How much is shipping?

$5 anywhere in New Zealand, except for surfboards, bikes, and bulky Items

What courier company do we use?

New Zealand Couriers and NZ Post for small to medium items, Flyways for bulky items. Bikes and surfboards are available for in-store pickup in Kaikōura NZ, call for freight options if none are available 

How long does courier shipping take?

New Zealand orders.  Most items take an average of 1-2 working days in the South Island and 2 working days if you are in the North Island. Please allow an extra day or three if you live at a rural address.

How long does it take for Coastal Sports to dispatch an order for stock items?

If the items have been paid for and is also in stock, it normally takes 1 business day to process and dispatch an order. Allow an extra day if there has been a public holiday in that week.

Do you dispatch orders on weekends?

No, we are only able to dispatch orders from Monday to Friday.

SURFBOARD FREIGHT

Shipping via Flyways Freight 

$120 North Island | 7–10 working days
$80 South Island | 7–10 working days

Please note that boards are shipped via Flyways Freight. Deliveries are weekdays only, and occasional delays outside of our control may occur. There must be someone available to sign for board deliveries. These are large, fragile items and extra care is taken when packaging.  There MUST be someone available to sign for the delivery and note any damage at the time of receipt. No rural delivery is available.

Accordingly, no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted on the grounds that a board is perceived to possess excessive or insufficient volume or buoyancy following purchase. The customer assumes full and final responsibility for the selection and purchase decision.
