Kaikoura Cold Water Classic Surf Competition

It’s that time of year again when the south Island’s best surfers and a few Northerners fight it out in Kaikoura’s biggest and best surf comp. The events been lucky with pumping swell over the years and this years looks to be good for a great start. First day action was 4 foot Kahutara, perfect comp waves. The surf looks to be dropping for Sunday, but the organizes got through the open men on the first day to give the best waves of the weekend. 2nd day looks to be moving to Meatworks to make the most of the dying swell.
